| Bio: | I moved to Minneapolis, MN in 2004 to help start new church with several of the people on my friends list including my wonderful wife (![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} hopelark).It has been a wild ride thus far. Massive Ups and Downs. But the church is officially what I would call "started" and is no longer a "church plant" (as in it could pretty easily be self-sustaining at this point no matter which big players got moved along by life to somewhere else). Church planting, if you were wondering, is a very difficult thing to do. And God has taken me through some amazing things in the midst of the uncomfortablenesses of church planting. And now he is really challenging me to be more bold, and more compassionate. We'll see how that works out because as it stands, both of those things are freaking difficult for me. Before moving to wintery Minneapolis I spent the better part of 5 years at the University of Illinois with ever-renamed group of amazing Guys (and a few Gals) that sometimes goes by TW5N, Phi Beta Nu, or the remnant of those groups that lived in "The House" which is now called 'the Braincell'. In general, I love to drink Beer, especially good beer. If you ever in the Twin Cities, I recommend the Town Hall Brewery's Scotch Ale. I enjoy video games, and I'm particularly skilled at fixing computers which I also enjoy. Lately I've been working on trying to fix laptops, which is much more of a challenge than desktops.
